Aberlour 18 Year Old Double Sherry Cask Finish is a single malt whisky finished in PX (Pedro Ximénez) sherry casks and specially selected first fill Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a indulgent whisky with a deep, spicy and sweet flavour profile. It has notes of apricot, chocolate raisins, liquorice and grated nutmeg.

The 12 year-old expression is a fine example of how the distinctively crisp, citrus character of Aberlour’s new distillate is deftly softened by double cask maturation. Traditional Oak and seasoned Sherry butts are both used to great effect, as the mellowed spirits within are combined to deliver a subtly balanced flavour. Please note this bottle does not come with a box.

Aberlour 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl

Golden amber in colour with hints of ruby red. Aberlour 12 Year Old has a very soft and rounded nose with fruity notes of red apples. Sherried characters and fruity aromas on the palate that are balanced with a rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger spiciness. Warming and lingering finish with some smoky notes and gentle pepperiness. This single malt has been matured in two types of cask. This double casking adds depth of character as well as balanced notes of fruits and spices.
